Join Us for a Day of Limitless Possibilities

We are presently adding the final touches to our third annual Women’s Empowerment Conference, which will be held on September 14, 2023, in Somerset County, a bustling business hub located in Central New Jersey. This half-day event is dedicated to offering attendees thought-provoking sessions that are focused on personal and professional growth, innovation, and overall well-being. The conference is managed by members of BW NICE and our Board of Trustees, who have worked diligently behind the scenes to recruit speakers and manage every detail of the event. With the theme “Limitless Possibilities,” the conference aims to unite businesswomen from New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. As we all navigate these turbulent times, it will be a pleasure to gather under one roof to learn and share strategies while discovering ways to achieve balance and contentment. This year’s conference highlights the power of community, education, and charity.

Diane Simovich, BW NICE Founder & President, says, “We’re thrilled to be hosting our 3rd annual Women’s Empowerment Conference! This year’s conference offers an incredible platform to learn, share and strategize on ways to reach your goals and build your business and will hopefully leave attendees energized and empowered to conquer anything that comes their way!”

Boundless Networking Opportunities

BW NICE is excited to jumpstart this content-rich day with a morning of networking for businesswomen from our twelve regional chapters and beyond. While reconnecting with one another, BW NICE members look forward to welcoming guests and making introductions throughout the day. From Eastern Pennsylvania, we will have members representing Lehigh Valley, Monroe, Montgomery, and Bucks counties. In New Jersey, we will have members from Hunterdon, Somerset, Ocean, Middlesex, Morris, Sussex, Mercer, and Burlington counties. The conference is open to all women, and we anticipate welcoming attendees from both regions. The growing influence of our organization serves as a great reminder that there are boundless networking opportunities outside of our regular monthly chapter meetings. Don’t miss out on this chance to expand your network and grow your business connections.

Rev Up Your Storytelling IQ
Eva Grayzel, Opening Speaker

Eva Grayzel, a nationally recognized motivational storyteller, is the opening keynote speaker of this year’s conference. As a late-stage cancer survivor, Eva is going to convey the realities of her cancer journey and how she created a powerful new beginning after her recovery. With the valuable life lessons learned, Eva enjoys educating and inspiring others with her unique storytelling skills. Besides being a sought-after speaker for conferences and other events, Eva is also the author of two children’s books and an advocate for oral health screening processes. Although her speaking topics vary depending on her audience, during our conference, she will feature how attendees can rev up their storytelling IQ and how to invest in the power of a story.

Breakout Sessions With Impactful Takeaways

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s conference will feature a phenomenal lineup of breakout sessions to provide attendees with well-rounded topics that will enrich and provide impactful takeaways. To start, Melissa Hartrum is going to discuss how women can shift the dialogue about their economic future by becoming powerful wealth builders now. Debbie Weiss looks forward to highlighting the practical strategies that she implemented to regain ownership of her life to finally unlock her true potential. Karen Ann Bulluck , a bestselling author and former C-Suite executive, knows firsthand how important one’s imagination is when it comes to business growth and is going to show others how to fully tap into their creativity. Donna Miller is ready to help attendees elevate their leadership status by talking about key items that they need to understand in order to make this happen. Donna Price, a seasoned cyclist, will cover the history, health benefits, and bike basics of this pastime that can be enjoyed at any age. Last but not least, Rosanne DeTorres, an award-winning attorney and small business owner, is prepared to review her top tips and strategies that she personally uses to strike a balance between her professional and personal life to stay focused and avoid feeling frazzled. Attendees can choose their preferred breakout sessions when registering for our third annual Women’s Empowerment Conference.

Transition and Reach Your Growth Zone
Melissa Boggs, Closing Speaker

Melissa Boggs, an employee experience designer and leadership coach, will conclude our conference with her thoughts on everything she needed to learn about possibility, which she learned from roller skating. During her presentation, Melissa will use real-time skate choreography to help tell her story about the lessons she has personally learned about courage, community, and care in both the workplace and the rink—showing that, in the end, risk-taking, vulnerability, and self-reflection work together to help us transition and reach our growth zone.
