She is extremely passionate about health and wellness and has dedicated her life to helping others enjoy a better quality of life. She teaches her clients how to make diet and lifestyle changes that will have a positive impact on their health and well-being.

She began her wellness journey at the Integrative Institute for Nutrition in New York City. Her intense training included education on over one hundred different dietary theories. It also included lectures from many of the top researchers and nutritional authorities in their field, including Dr. David Katz, Director of the Arizona Institute of Integrative Medicine, Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University, and a host of other best-selling authors including Deepak Chopra, Geneen Roth, and Dr. Mark Hyman. Ramona went on to study under Christina Pirello, of “Christina Cooks” fame at the Christina Pirello School of Natural Cooking and Integrative Health Studies in Philadelphia. It was there that she began to understand that natural food is truly medicine and can be used in the prevention and reversal of disease. She furthered her education with a certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University under the direction of T. Colin Campbell, author of the famed “China Study.”  In December 2015, Ramona received a certificate in Stress Management from the Spencer Institute and a Gut Health Specialist Certification in 2023 from AFPA. Ramona will soon be certified as a Menopause Coach, helping women who are struggling to alleviate their symptoms before, during, and after menopause. In addition to working in private practice, Ramona has experience in corporate wellness coaching, as well as supporting doctors in building their wellness and health coaching programs. She has successfully worked with countless clients over the past 14 years to lead them on a path of self-discovery and behavior change modification so they can reach their health goals.

Ramona has a BS in Marketing from Millersville University and an MBA from UMASS Amherst, from which she graduated summa cum laude. In addition to teaching others about healthy living, Ramona loves writing about it. Her love of writing prompted her to author her book “A Health Coach’s Guide to Heart Health,” which is available on Amazon. She followed up her first book with a line of healthy living e-books on topics ranging from understanding sugar to healthy food shopping to living well with diabetes. She looks forward to writing more books in the future.

Ramona has made guest appearances on such radio shows as “Women to Watch” with Susan Rocco, “The Mike Sigel Show,” “Nyghtstorm Radio,” and “Wellness Journey Live.” She was asked to be the health expert for the “Ask Bon Bon” TV Show, which is now featured on the Lifestyle Channel. In July of 2016, Ramona was featured on NPR Radio’s “It’s Your Health Network” with Lisa Davis. She has served as a Keynote Speaker at several conferences around the country and is often invited as a guest on many podcasts both nationally and internationally. With so much passion and knowledge, it is easy to see why she continues to achieve the levels of success that she has with her clients and all her wellness endeavors, as her clients will attest.

In her spare time, Ramona volunteers for the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association. She also served as the co-chair for the 2016 Kidney Walk in Philadelphia for the National Kidney Foundation.
