Lynn Grillo fell sideways into a career in technology. For years she and her husband Joe were in the entertainment industry creating productions for conventions and corporate events when in 1993 Joe hinted that a website would be a fantastic marketing tool for their small business. Lynn stepped up to the challenge and took to the web like a fish to water, ultimately building a new business and co-authoring 4 books on web development using Adobe software.

In July of 2000 she accepted a position with Adobe, the makers of Photoshop and Acrobat, and began a 20-year career that took her from an individual contributor role to an executive role as Sr. Director of Customer Success for the Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud. With a team of 130 people across the Americas charged with maintaining annual revenue of over $800M, Lynn quickly learned the secrets of managing an extended remote team across countries and time zones. Her motto became “Think Excellence, Not Perfection!” To execute well in that fast-paced environment required a laser-focus on prioritization, goal setting and reporting—skills that would become the hallmark of her personal brand.

After retiring from Adobe in 2020 Lynn put her experience to work in another way. She is currently Media Director for Dance for the Cure, a local charity whose mission is to financially assist women and families impacted by breast cancer in Somerset, Hunterdon and Middlesex, NJ counties. It is a 100% volunteer organization whose efforts have an immediate impact on families in distress. To date, Dance for the Cure has gifted over $1 million to women and families in need.
