Amanda Hecker is a retired high school teacher, engineer and corporate trainer who, through her company Diversity Training and Education, is actively working to accomplish these 3 goals:

1. To inform the public about transgender issues by giving short presentations on Transgender Equality, Gender Dysphoria and Transgender Inclusion in the Workplace
2. To improve the employment prospects for diverse people by reducing the fear and apprehension of corporate recruiters relating to diverse candidates.
3. To become a resource for small and medium sized companies who have an interest in developing their diversity profile.

Presently, she is on the board of 2 non-profit organizations which are both focused on support for members of the LGBTQ community and is a past vice president of the Renaissance Transgender Association of the Lehigh Valley.  She has spoken at public events and has lectured at several medical schools, conferences, school districts and small professional organizations.
