Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, and attendees
for another successful Red Shoe Event!
On Friday, December 7th, we will be hosting our 3rd annual Red Shoe™ Luncheon & Fashion Show at The Bridgewater Manor. This exciting event provides a perfect afternoon escape for businesswomen to network and build relationships, enjoy a delicious lunch, and discover the latest fashions–all while raising awareness and funds for BW NICE, Inc. and our charity partner, Safe+Sound Somerset, a local not-for-profit agency dedicated to serving victims and survivors of domestic violence.
An estimated 200 attendees are expected to gather for this luncheon which also supports local businesses by providing them with a platform to showcase their products or services via tabletop displays, or even be a part of the much-anticipated BW NICE Red-Carpet Fashion Show. The models that walk the runway are typically members of this organization and are thrilled to be a fashion model for the day–especially after having their hair and makeup done by local hair stylists and make-up artists.
Of course, no fundraiser is complete without a fabulous silent auction. From gift cards to local businesses to the latest fashion accessories, the Red Shoe Committee has assembled a treasure trove of value that will surely be worth bidding on at this fun and festive gathering.
We are very excited to announce that singer/songwriter Juliette Reilly is going to make a special appearance and will be singing her latest release, “Red Shoes.”
Another key component of this event is to acknowledge the Businesswoman of the Year. This year’s recipient is Doris “Dee” Zampella, owner and vice president of the E A Boniakowski Agency, Inc, based on her extraordinary community leadership and involvement. She was nominated by Sue Squires, MyStylist and Corporate Sales at Macy’s, Inc.
Besides overseeing the day-to-day operations of her company, Doris currently serves as the president of the board of directors for Empower Somerset, board member for the Center School Foundation, volunteer EMT Crew Chief for Martinsville Rescue Squad, charter member of the United Way Women’s Giving Circle and as a board member for the Somerset County Business Partnership. She also serves on the volunteer staff of Operation Shoebox NJ.
This year’s sponsors are Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, TAPInto, Yon-Ka Paris, Liberty Mutual, Hunterdon Family Medicine at Bridgewater, Archer Law Office, LLC, BMW Bridgewater, Laura Pedrick Photography, Nine Dotz Consulting, and Macy’s Bridgewater. The Kasper Group, KK’s Clothing and Accessories, Isabelle’s Bridal & Eveningwear, and Roman Jewelers are this year’s fashion show vendors. Yes, this is an event that you don’t want to miss!
The 3rd annual Red Shoe™ Luncheon & Fashion Show will begin at 10 a.m. with registration and vendor displays then continues with the luncheon and fashion show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $80 for BW NICE members and $90 for non-members. Please note that seating is limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance. We look forward to seeing you!
