Janice Bolomey is executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Unity Bank.    She has worked for Unity Bank over the course of the past 18 years; 12 of those years were in the position of senior vice president of retail banking.  During her progressive tenure with the bank, her scope of responsibility entailed all facets of branch banking and retail administration, including the expansion and consolidation of the branch network, staffing, all retail operations, the development and enforcement of policies and procedures, security and the implementation and management of a non-deposit investment line of business.

In her current role, she is responsible for spearheading the execution and communication of the strategic vision and plan for the bank, organizing customer and employee experience initiatives, and the continued development and administration of the sales and incentive program.  She is also responsible for management and oversight of the following departments of the bank; retail branch network, residential mortgage department; training and human resources.

A key component of her role is ensuring that the bank is actively engaged and has a high level of participation with community, civic, social and networking groups within our footprint. Through the years, she has been an active participant with several non-profit organizations, including some non-traditional events such as picking vegetables on farms and spending the night in a cardboard box.  She appreciates these opportunities to see the impact of the bank’s community commitment and give back personally.

Prior to joining Unity Bank in 2000, Janice held various management and leadership positions with Wells Fargo and Bank of America in retail banking and branch administration for over 14 years. She has been a banker and member of senior management for over 30 years and has kept abreast of all industry and regulatory changes.

Overall, she is best known for her success in the leadership and development of others.  In 2002, she was given an award from Unity Bank for Creative and Exceptional Management.  In 2013, she was recognized and awarded by Bank Horizons & New Jersey Bankers with their New Leaders in Banking award.
