Audrey Blumberg
Director of Communications & Social Media

In 2007, Audrey Blumberg began her career as a government reporter for the Hillsborough Beacon and the Manville News, then part of Princeton Packet Publications. In 2010, she joined Patch Media as the local editor launching and running the Bridgewater Patch news website, and was also eventually co-editor of the Bernardsville-Bedminster Patch site.

In 2013, she struck out on her own when she bought The BReeze newspaper, the monthly newspaper sent for free to every home in Bridgewater and Raritan. She purchased it from the founders of the newspaper, and has continued to run it on her own since, watching it grow both in advertising revenue and news content. In 2014, she became a franchisee of TAPInto, bringing The BReeze newspaper online to provide news through both venues.

Audrey is a 2007 graduate of The College of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and professional writing. She also has a Master of Arts degree in Media Studies from The New School.

In 2015, Audrey was named a Somerset County Woman of the Year for journalism/media, and in 2016, she became the communications director for the Somerset County Chapter of BW NICE. She lives in Hillsborough with her husband and their 2-year-old daughter.

Audrey is currently the communications and social media director of the Somerset County Chapter of BW NICE. She has been a member of the chapter since December 2016.
