From a young age, Andrea has always helped and cared for people, and loved to inspire, motivate and empower them. She discovered her own highly developed intuition very early in her life, and was aware of the ethereal, finding hidden meanings before they were revealed. Until she understood what was happening, Andrea was frustrated by the extreme feelings and moods she would experience. She later realized it was actually the feelings and moods of others that were affecting her as if they were her own. What at one time she considered difficult and unpleasant, she now accepted as a blessing that would provide tremendous insight. Raised in a strict religious environment, the time came when Andrea broke free, becoming fully aware of its lack of inspiration and fulfillment on her life path.
Andrea Brock has over thirty years’ experience in office management and administration in both the private and public sectors, and uses these skills now to be of greater service to the community in both her professional career and volunteer work. She currently serves as the Special Projects Director of the BW NICE Lehigh Valley Chapter.
Andrea is an internationally recognized Shamanic Healer, Certified Spiritual Healer, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Ordained Interfaith Minister, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technician, Access Bars Practitioner, Intuitive Reader, Spiritual Advisor and Inspirational Speaker with her own heart-centered healing and educational practice. Through personal customized healing sessions, public speaking, and workshops her gifts and abilities are put to productive use to help others realize their full potential, find clarity and feel liberated.
I did not set out on my Essential Oils Journey to make it a business for myself. I was simply searching for all natural ways to help heal and protect my family. I chose alternative natural ways from the moment I found out that I was pregnant, including using a midwife instead of a OB/GYN. Something in me told me to not follow the norm and to seek a more natural approach. I grew up very sickly and have many health issues both genetic and due to trauma and a terrible accident. Just like many moms I wanted better for my children. I was introduced to oils many years ago with no real results, so when I was approached by a friend over 2-1/2 years ago, I was a bit hesitant. But after a few months of seeing the research she had and the amazing results she was having with using them on herself and her family, I had to find out more. Now I know there is a difference between Health Food Store Oils and Certified Pure Therapuetic Grade(CPTG) Oils. I was pleasantly surprised by the results I had almost immediately when introducing these oils into my every day life.
It has been just over 2 years now that I have been using doTerra oils and I can’t imagine not having them. They are the first thing I go to to tackle any issue. I love researching which oil will help a friend when they discuss any problems they’re having and whipping them up a concoction for them to try before they buy. I believe in these oils so much and desire to help anyone that wants to know more. I now feel it’s time to share all that I have learned. With my personal experience of using the oils for a long period of time, I can truly say I am confident in my product and desire to move forward with sharing my knowledge even though there’s far more to learn.
Being a single mom now I’m faced with many new challenges. Most important is trying to find a job that I can do well and still be the full time mom that I have been. Being a Girl Scout Leader, Soccer Manager, PTO mom, and Children’s Church Teacher are all very important jobs and beneficial for my child, but they don’t pay the bills. My hope is that I can help others and make a modest living at the same time.

I began playing with glass in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the material. It is remarkably versatile and resilient, cooperative and unforgiving all at the same time. Knowing how to manipulate the glass has become a passion. I have recently begun playing not only with hot glass, but lamp worked glass and warm (kiln) glass. Each has its own nuances and potential and all can be combined with one another to enhance design possibilities.
I have created the Businesswoman of the Year Award for BW NICE Lehigh Valley, Warren County and Sussex County. I can also create custom plaques for any number of awards or events. There is any number of ways to create things with glass.
I also offer encasing a loved one’s ashes in glass. The choices I am able to provide is a hand made paper weight in the shape of an orb, or heart, or egg; or I can also encase the ashes into beads which can be placed on a chain and worn as a necklace, or bracelet.
Custom vases, light fixtures, bowls, sculptures, flowers are all possible in glass.
There is untold potential in glass. Let’s create something together.

With the amazing support of each member of the D|D Team, D|D has achieved a 15% growth in revenue each year since the inception of our firm in 2011 by leveraging the talent of its team members and significant reliance on cutting edge client management technologies. The firm has developed a firm culture where “the why” of what they do is more important than “the how” of what they do. The firm has learned that without the “why”, it could never achieve the kind of success it desired and its clients were entitled to. Once the firm developed “the why” as a team, every person on the team had a stake in the outcome of the firm’s goals and in the results we achieve for its clients. DeTorres & DeGeorge has truly developed a unique way to deliver legal services. D|D provides the depth of experience necessary for complex cases usually found in larger firms, but with the level of customer service and personal attention to detail only found in a smaller firm. The firm has invested heavily in the professional development of all of its team members by giving them opportunities to advance their professional skills as well as their sales abilities. The firm also conduct quarterly, day long team building events to increase morale and have fun!
ADVOCACY FOR WOMEN
Through her professional career, Ms. DeTorres has been an advocate for women. She has served on the Board of Trustees for Anderson House, a halfway house for women recovering from alcohol and drug dependency. She served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Women’s Crisis Services, now known as SAFE in Hunterdon, helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has been a volunteer attorney for many years representing victims of domestic violence. Before Women’s Crisis Services had a legal advocate on staff, she handled most all of the domestic violence representation for the agency.
More recently, Ms. DeTorres has been a member of BW Nice (Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education) for a number of years and a member of the Board of Trustees for the parent organization, BW Nice LLC for 3 years. BW Nice chapters provide networking opportunities for women business owners and they also raise money by hosting charity events for local domestic violence agencies.
Ms. DeTorres is the author of an easy-to-read primer on divorce that she makes available free of charge in electronic form to anyone in need. This book is an excellent resource for anyone looking to leave an unhappy or abusive marriage.
DeTorres & DeGeorge has provided intern opportunities to women obtaining their paralegal certificate.
Ms. DeTorres overcame significant professional obstacles in building a law firm literally from the ground up. Initially lacking many entrepreneurial skills needed to build and operate a successful business, there were many setbacks along the way. Just to name a few, these included poor tax planning leading to big tax liabilities; what she calls the “shiny object syndrome” leading to poor choices in hiring and technology purchases; and a meandering path of two steps forward and three steps back in creating the internal systems needed to make the business essentially run itself. Lawyers don’t go to business school so there was a steep learning curve that she accepted with enthusiasm. The process of becoming a successful entrepreneur and building a “rock star” team that is cohesive, professional and fun to be around, has been the the most rewarding experience of her life.

I work with clients to set up a household budget, pay off debt, and look at where you will be 30 years from now. Sitting down with a financial services representative and having a personalized conversation about your goals and needs can make planning for the future less stressful. I will listen, offer some solutions, and connect you with the right resources.
I typically work with individuals and families that are concerned that they aren’t saving enough money for the future, or have questions about their insurance protection. With my clients I work to derive a plan or course of action for the future so that you can meet your goals and you are properly protected on your journey. If you have questions about finances and want to just have a conversation then we should plan to meet and talk.
Our homeless shelter for families is made up of an inter-denominational network of 14 host and 31 support congregations and over 1,000 community volunteers who provide: shelter, meals, security, companionship and respect for homeless families and individuals. This is not a religious organization; rather it is a program that takes advantage of under-utilized space at houses of worship. Our professional staff helps families resolve their homelessness, each weekday from 7 am–5 pm at the day shelter in Flemington. At the end of the weekday, and on weekends, our families go “home” via the Link public transportation to one of our host congregations. At the shelter sites, volunteers welcome the families with a home-cooked meal every night, served with love. It is, at its core, a highly successful program of neighbors helping neighbors. Above all, it is a program, not just shelter, in that guests work with a case manager to: develop a case plan, find opportunities for education/employment, and commit to long-term goals to help themselves work out of poverty and the conditions that led to their homelessness.
